If you read my posts here you'll see I already stated they've been here for thousands of years, the "Ancient Aliens" TV program presents evidence for this. In the Biblical narrative they're identified as fallen angels and they went as far as producing hybrid offspring and creating elaborate "kingdoms" setting themselves as "gods" and their people the subjects. The Greek "kingdom" is still ripe with the vestiges of ancient evidence which can be discovered all over the country as well as their conquered lands where ancient empires are concerned such as ancient Greece and all the "gods" fallen angels as well as the "demi-gods" their hybrid children AKA Nephilim. Etc Josephus details the Greek "Gods' and "Demi-gods" as being fallen angels and their hybrid children part angel and part human being. God became enraged at these monsters who took over His creation and so He flooded the entire world to wipe them all out along with their genetic manipulated/mutated handiwork in the animal kingdom! Christians have been warning people that the "end is nigh, and Jesus will be here any moment" for almost 2,000 years. How gullible can one group of people be? Apparently 2,000 years worth of gullible.

People over the past couple of hundred centuries, as opposed to 2,000 yeas as you incorrectly stated, have been making foolish claims that the end is coming at a given date, and we've all seen where that leads. If you read Matthew 24 you'll see that yes, 2,000 years ago Jesus gave a list of these details things to watch for. But Andy, He did NOT say they would happen at the time or even near the time He gave those details. So that's one mistake you made. In fact, He clearly stated that NO BODY would know the exact date. He told us to watch for this list of signs so we could know when the end was approaching. The list included wars and rumors of wars, it included extreme whether with the oceans raging against shorelines. It included progressively more and greater in power with volcanoes and earthquakes. He also included some seemingly weird things which happen to be taking place in the streets of American States right now! "And then shall (many be offended), and shall betray one another, and (shall hate one another). 11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12 And because iniquity shall abound, (the love of many shall wax cold.) Go look for other "faith's" predictions if you can find any, and you will not see these kind of details. The one huge detail every one of these people missed was the prophecy that BEFORE HE WILL RETURN - ISRAEL WILL BE A NATION AGAIN! Think about how likely that was at the time. Do you know how many nations have managed to come back into the hands of their people after being conquered Andy? I'll tell you ONE! Israel! He also said the generation which witnesses that, the rebirth of Israel would not pass before His return! This one single detail was enough for every single one of the people who made predictions pre 1948 were doomed to look foolish! Also, Jesus did not say "when you see one, or two of these things happen" He said "when you see ALL these things happen at the same time" The end is NEAR! I obviously cannot go through the thousands of detailed (unlike other so called prophecies) prophecies in scripture which have come to pass, so I encourage you to look for yourself, especially if you're going to be a critic. Critics who don't understand, or study the subject they criticize can really make themselves look foolish Andy. Just be aware of that. I will make you an offer though. And I've offered to do this with many others just like you who've criticized the faith from pure ignorance, and to date not one has taken the offer up which is very revealing in itself. Some people get a false sense of being intelligent or "logical minded" clever etc when they criticize things they don't understand. I will show you a prophecy which is typical of the Holy Bible God, because as He states "Only God knows the end from the beginning" That's why the Holy Bible has over 2,500 detailed prophecies whereas the other "religions" have scarcely any! The Holy Bible accurately foretells specific events in detail many years, sometimes centuries, before they occur. Experts who study these in great detail have stated over 2,000 of these have already have been fulfilled to the letter no errors. The remaining are in the process of unfolding which is another clear indication the end is near, we're running down on the unfulfilled prophecy list! I'll show you one specific prophecy as an example of the kind of detail and legitimacy the Holy Bible prophecy which gave the EXACT YEAR THE EXACT MONTH AND THE EXACT DAY WHEN ISRAEL WOULD BECOME A NATION AGAIN! Why is it that you think the Christian scriptures are right? The Christian religion is right? The Christian God is right? What makes Christianity right and the thousands of other religions and Gods humans have invented over the last 10,000 years to feel better about themselves? A "couple of hundred centuries" would be a minimum of 200 centuries. 200 centuries times 100 years would put us back 20,000 years. If you've seen, heard of or read anywhere on earth of someone predicting the end of the world from 20,000 years ago, please share that. And I didn't say, "*people* have been predicting...", I said, "Christians have been predicting over the past 2,000 years....", since Christianity didn't exist before Jesus. Now, what do you think? Are we in "end times"? Not asking what you know, asking what you think based on your beliefs.
